Happy Thanksgiving to all! As December is around the corner, remember to save the date of the 10th of December. I will be speaking at the International Human Rights Day event. So, join the Mayor of Pasadena, the UNA Pasadena Chapter, Pasadena Water & Power as we discuss our views on the year of the light, sustainability and energy! I hope you can make it.
Come join me at the Westside Renewables Cocktail event today, November 12th from 5 to 7 pm. The event will be held at Areal restaurant at 2820 Main Street in Santa Monica.
It has been really nice connecting with everyone over the past few events! The Westside represents a number of great folks in the renewables industry, which has made these events valuable. Come on out during the cocktail hour before the holidays. My firm, ECMC will be sponsoring the event once again! So ring in the holidays with a cocktail on me!
I am looking to connect with more solar, energy and CM firms at this event for future projects. Hope you can make it!
Thank you to everyone who came out this past week to support the UN Film Festival. And many thanks to those who came out to support Brave Miss World. The audience and those who shared their own personal stories of triumph and courage moved me immensely. See you all next year! I can’t tell you how proud I am to be a board member of the UNA Pasadena. #iambrave
Thank you CBC radio and Jian Ghomeshi for an incredible show Oct 16th at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica with Jenny Lewis, Zack Galifinakis, Martin Short, Sandra Oh, Bob Odenkirk, and Jill Soloway. These seven artists impressed me last night with their inspirational outlook on life. Their insightful commentary on social and personal levels will carry with me in the coming years. Thank you #QinLA for an amazing experience. Long live public radio!
The 4th Annual UNA Pasadena Film Festival will be hosted at the Laemmle Playhouse 7 Theater on October 22-23! I have the honor of introducing and presenting, the Emmy nominated documentary, Brave Miss World. It is a film about, “One woman’s quest to turn personal tragedy into global awareness.” My friend, Amy Malin, will accompany me for the screening and a Q&A following the film. We both hope you can make it. It will be screened at 7:30pm at the Laemmle Playhouse 7 on October 22nd. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the film or the festival.
